School

School has been incredibly busy for me lately. I've been running around everywhere for the past week. I've had an awesome week too.

School is school. I've had a lot of homework and studying the past week. It has made me incredibly tired and I go home this weekend so I will be happy once I'm in the car tomorrow afternoon.

I have had some good luck with dating lately. I've been on 3 dates in the past week. How awesome is that? The first one was last Thursday and we went to Roys (FatJacks) for dinner then we went to the bowling alley where they had this bowl party. You got unlimited bowling, air hockey, pool, guitar hero and drinks. It was a lot of fun. The second date was Saturday. I actually had Ethan and Stuart come down to Snow and go on a date with some of my friends. We made them dinner at my friends apartment. We had taco salad and for dessert we had chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches. We then played some games. First we played BS and the second game we played Egyptian Rat Slap. That got really intense. It was so much fun cause we were all involved in the game. We just chilled for a little while afterwards. Megan and Stuart played their guitars and some others watched a movie. I think Ethan and Stuart had a really fun time that night. The girls did as well. The third date was this past Tuesday. It was with my friend Casey. We went to Manti for dinner. I don't remember the place where we ate but I do know that it was a steak house place. something Grill. If you know, let me know. We then went bowling. We played 2 games and he won both times. It was a close game though. His final score was 135 and mine was 131.

I found out who I'm going to live with next year here at Snow. I am going to be living in the same apartment as I am now. Just a different room. There are 3 bedrooms in the apartment. The first and third rooms are private and the second room is shared. I live in the shared room this year. Next year I will be living in the first room with my friend Kaitlyn Waters. The second room is a private room and that is where my friend Victoria Toa is going to live. The third room is shared and I don't know who is going to live in there. I think it will be 2 freshman next year. I am so excited to come back here in the fall. It'll be a lot of fun.

As I said before, I'm coming home tomorrow for the weekend. It is my friends mission farewell on Sunday so I will be there to see him one last time for 2 years. He has been my friend ever since Head Start! That's before pre-school! He's an awesome guy and he will be a good missionary. Another reason why I'm coming home this weekend is because my best friend Deseree is moving in with my second mom Yvie. Yvie lives in Tooele so I will get to spend more time with Des! I am so excited to see her and Yvie. We're having a party tomorrow night so it'll be so much fun!

Sheri and NyQuil

So last night was very interesting. I totally wish Alaina (my roommate) would've been home to watch.

Sheri (another roommate) has been sick the past week or so and yesterday she just wasn't feeling good at all. She's got a bad cold. So I asked her if she wanted to take some NyQuil before she goes to bed and she said that she's never had NyQuil before. So I told her that it would help her get to sleep very easily. She got all excited saying "Yes! I wanna get knocked out!" hahaha I was so surprised that she wanted to take it that bad.

So at about 11:45pm last night I gave her the medicine and she said "I just swallow it....right?" I kept a straight face and said "No Sheri, you have to chew it til it disolves in your mouth" and she pulled this disgusted look on her face like she didn't want to do it anymore. I statrted laughing and told her that I was kidding and she was relieved. I then told her that she should be ready for bed before she takes it so she got ready for bed then she got all nervous asking "So does it just happen really fast or is it a slow process?" and I told her that it was a slow process even though I wanted to joke with her again so bad. She took it and she got all excited again saying "I can't wait to go to sleep!" She was fast asleep within 20 minutes. She said this morning "It really worked! I totally felt it hit me!" She was all excited that it worked and she might be doing it again tonight. I think it would be funny to record it sometime. She was pretty crazy last night. :D

Life...

I know there aren't very many people that read this blog of mine. But I hope that I get some feedback from this.

As you should all know, Shaun and I are not goether anymore and he has moved on. He has a girlfriend now that makes him so happy. I really am happy for him. It's a little difficult being his friend. Seeing him with someone else makes me miss him and it sometimes makes me feel lonely.

Another reason why I'm feeling this way is that I am alone down here. The rest of the family is up in Logan or back home in Lake Point. It was good when Vanessa was here.

I really don't know why to do about the whole thing. I really want to move on but there is no one really to move on with. I've had some pretty rough times the past 7 months when it comes to dating. I've been rejected twice, stood up twice and I've only been on 3 dates. The first of the 3 dates happened to be the worst date ever.

I know that I'm only 18 but I feel like it's been ages since I've been with a guy. I really don't know what to do. I see all my friends are getting into relationships or getting engaged and I just think of when it'll be my turn. I guess I just need to be patient. I honestly don't know how Phil can do it (sorry Phil). Anyway, if you have any advice, please feel free to share it with me.

New Roommate

I feel so bad that I haven't kept up with my blog. I do have time to update it. I just forget. I really want you all to know whats going on in my life.

So I got a new roommate this semester. Melanie moved to a different dorm but she's not that far away. She just moved into the dorm behind me. She visits often so I haven't lost touch with her. My new roommate is awesome. Her name is Zenobia. She's 26. She's from Hong Kong, China. She also served a mission in Hong Kong. She is a convert to the church. She's been a member for over 7 years. She is engaged to a guy named Sebastian. He's from Spain. He's actually the son of the ambassador of Spain. Kinda cool huh? They will be getting married in August and she has asked me to be her bridesmaid. I'm so excited for her and Sebastian. He's going to be coming over in April for General Conference. Zenobia teaches me so many new things. She has been such an awesome influence on me. I have become such good friends with her and with others because of her.

School is going good. I am taking 15 credits this semester so it's not too bad. I'm taking Education 1010 with a lab, Math 1010, Mass Media, P.E, Convocations, History 1700 and of course Institute. My classes are going good. My Ed 1010 lab has been pretty fun. I go to Ephraim Elementary every Monday and Wednesday and work with a kindergarten class for about an hour. They are so funny. The first day I was in the class, the teacher introduced me and one of the students said "Thats my sister!" Now obviously I don't live in Ephraim and I don't have a younger sister so the kids would come up to me and ask me if I'm someones older sister. I would politely have to tell them no. I've been having so much fun with the kids. I can't wait til I'm actually teaching kids.

I get to go home this weekend. I'm so excited to go home and be with my parents again. I feel like I haven't been home for a long time. It's been about a month since I came home last. I just miss being at home. I love school, don't get me wrong, it's just that sometimes school can get kind of boring and home would be the fun place for a while.
