Pranks

Yup. I suck at pranking my roommates.
I tried to prank my roommates into thinking I was engaged.
It did a 180 to where my roommates got a bunch of the girls from my building to throw me a fake bridal shower seeing how they knew that I was faking it all.
Kaitlyn told me she was engaged. Totally fell for it. Kudos to her.
As a result of pranking my roommates, Victoria and Bianca have "blocked" me from facebook. Lala is no longer my friend on facebook. Kaitlyn just laughed and didn't do anything on facebook knowing that she was going to prank me today.
Yup. I'm not going to prank my roommates anymore, maybe I'll join in on a prank but I won't prank my roommates by myself....EVER AGAIN!

Harry Potter Marathon!

So my roommates are beyond excited for the 7th Harry Potter movie Part 1 to come out in theaters this week. We are going to go see it this Saturday in Pleasant Grove They decided to decorate the apartment with Harry Potter sayings and pictures. We also decided that we should watch a Harry Potter movie a night starting Monday. So far we have watched the 1st and 2nd one and we're on the 3rd one tonight. Before I tell you this, I want people who are reading my blog to know that I will read them all eventually. With that saying, I haven't read the 7th book. I know a lot of things that happen in the 7th book because of my roommates. Anywho, I will read them over the summer or something. I know that I won't have time during school to read them. Here are some pictures that I took of our apartment for Harry Potter.

Nikki

So about a week ago, a girl who lives upstairs in my building got baptized. She had one of her best friends introduce her to the missionaries a month or so ago. She started taking discussions and started reading the book of mormon.

She then got more and more friendlier to other people in the building. Her friend Jana came to our apartment and introduced Nikki to us. I knew that her and I were going to be good friends when I first saw her. :) On November 8th She was her baptism day. She was so nervous. I had the privilege to be at the top of the stairs and watch her get baptized. My friend Regan baptized her. As soon as she walked up the stairs I wrapped a towel around her and hugged her saying how happy I was that she got baptized.

One of the amazing things that I love about the spirit is that it's always with you. I ran into Nikki today at the cafeteria and I could see that glowing spirit about her. :) I loved it! I've never seen her this happy. Here are some pictures of the baptism.

The Past 24 hours

In the past 24 hours I've become incredibly close to my Father in Heaven. This week I had been struggling with my brace. My brace wouldn't stay on for very long when I'm walking around campus. I finally figured out that my Snow College sweatpants do the trick to keeping my brace up for longer than normal.In the past 24 hours I've been pondering about my future and what will happen. I honestly don't know what will happen in my future. All I know is that if I trust in the lord with everything that I have, my life will be fine. I've been praying to heavenly father about many things which have caused me to become very emotional. I love my Heavenly Father for all that he's given me and I know that he will look after me in my times of need. I just need to take it one day at a time.In the past 24 hours I've been spending a lot of time with my roommates. I love them all so much. I wanted to be alone yesterday so I locked myself in the bathroom. Now my bathroom has 2 doors. One to the bathroom and one just for the toilet. I locked myself in the toilet room. I stayed in there for a good hour or so. Just thinking, crying, praying...whatever. I then heard my roommates asking me if I was okay. I told them that I just needed time to think. They then proceeded to hang out in the bathroom for a while. I didn't feel so alone anymore. They just sat in the bathroom talking and laughing. Kaitlyn, Victoria and Bianca I love you guys. Thank you for being patient with me.
In the past 24 hours I've talked to my mom. Things have been tough on me this week and for some odd reason I really missed my mom. I decided to call her and tell her everything that's going on. She really calmed me down about things and turned me toward my Heavenly Father. My mom is my best friend. I love her so much. I honestly don't know what I'd do without her right now in my life.

Dear Brace

The doctor told me that you need to be on my leg for about a month. You keep slipping. Please help me out a little and stay on my leg longer than 10 minutes. Please make this month a little less stressful. Thanks

Knee Problems

So about a week and a half ago I was in Aerobics and we were doing warm ups where we'd step onto the step and do kicks or knees or something. Anyway, I was doing that and my right knee suddenly popped. It was a very painful pop. I told the instructor what had happened and she told me to ice it for the next few days and stay off of it. I did just that and that weekend it was fine.

This past weekend didn't help at all. Because Bianca's car broke down, I had to drive and so I was driving for 2 hours using my right leg to drive and my knee started hurting again. Once we got to Salt Lake we went to the concert which was 3 hours of standing. Yup, my knee wasn't too happy with me. Saturday Kaitlyn did a photoshoot on Saltair where there was nothing to sit on but the ground which was salt so if I sat on the ground my jeans would turn white haha so once I got home I slept. Sunday at church, knee was acting up all day so I decided to go get it checked.

I went to the doctor today who was totally legit. Normally you'd see a guy walk in wearing tennis shoes, shirt and tie with a white coat on. The doctor that I went to came in with black boots, black pants, and a black cowboy button up shirt on. AWESOME! He was really nice. I told him what I just told you guys and he then proceeded to do weird things to my legs and knees. I would watch him then listen to what he'd say. He 'wiggled' my knees to check something and when he was checking my right leg he said "Hmm thats interesting" and I was like "what is it?" I was so afraid that i'd have to get surgery. He told me that I had torn my LCL and part of my MCL which is very rare apparently. Usually it takes quite a big accident to tear your MCL so I must've done something weird.

He told me that I have to be in a brace for a month or so. UGH! I'm not looking forward to it. He said that I can't go to aerobics for a month either. Don't know how that's gonna go down but I'll find out tomorrow. Here's a picture of my beautiful brace. :) I'm gonna hate it when my one month is up.

My Adventurous Weekend

This weekend was crazy but awesome all at the same time! Okay just to warn you all, this is going to be a long story but it's awesome!

Friday: I was done with classes by 11:30am and I pack my stuff for an awesome weekend of an amazing concert of Allred/He Is We/The Rocket Summer. I had made a shirt for the concert specifically for He Is We.
I am totally in love with them! My roommates have introduced me to them this year and I immediately fell in love. :) All my roommates are home and it's 3:30 when we leave. We're jamming out to music as we leave Nephi. We're on I-15 when Bianca tells us that Lala doesn't like her car cause it makes funny noises when it accelerates. Just as she said that her car (Barney) totally went up in smoke so we pulled over to see that the car was leaking oil. She called a tow truck because her car wouldn't start and the time was now 5:15. The tow truck guy named Brett (who is 23 and single. major flirtage) took us back to Nephi where we took the car to a repair shop. My good friend Trevor picked us up and took us back to Ephraim where we got my car (Sheela) and we were finally on our way. The time: 6:00pm.

We drive straight to salt lake where we hope and pray that the concert didn't start. We got to club sound where we found out that the concert didn't start til 8pm. Lucky for us, we got there at 8:10. BOOYA! We made it. T-shirt? Check! Money? Check! Cameras? Check! We were set. Allred was first and don't worry! I totally got a picture with him.
He Is We was AMAZING!!!!!!! Rachel was so much fun and she's so beautiful!! Trevor was incredible at the guitar. The End! Here are some pictures of them :) :) :)

The Rocket Summer! Bryce was so funny! He would talk in between songs and it would be like a 5 minute story but still very fun! He told this story about when he worked at Starbucks and how this guy would order a very specific drink and he would totally just mix random things together haha good times! He was sweating like NO OTHER though. Kinda gross but he was getting way into his songs!
Good concert over all! Love it! My roommates finally got to meet Josh (except for Victoria cause she was with family) I think they like him. :) We crashed at Bianca's place at like 2 in the morning. Super tired.

Saturday was a pretty awesome day. Kaitlyn did a photoshoot with 3 dancers for her final project in her photography class. We went out to Saltair where they danced. Here are some pictures.
After that we went to Pleasant Grove for Kaitlyn to do 2 more photoshoots. After the photoshoots we played around in some leaves before we went to meet Eric (Kaitlyn's future husband) He's so cute! I definitely approve Miss Kaitlyn! We then went to her house where we ate pizza and cookies. We then left for E-town a little while later. When we got back to the apartment, I just crashed. I was so tired from driving and staying up late and the concert. Good weekend though. :)

Institute

Dear Institute,

Thank you for the delicious fruit and yogurt this morning for my brunch. I have officially become a fan of yogurt with granola in it. :) Yum. I'm not a big fan of yogurt but today was perfection in the yogurt world. I cannot wait til the finals breakfast. :) I always look forward to that and you always do an amazing job at it. Thanks again!

Dear Snow Hall,
Why do barely tell us today that we have cleaning checks tomorrow night? That's not nice. I think you and I are fighting right now. Thanks for making me clean hard tonight and tomorrow when I really should be studying my guts out.
Dear Josh,
Hey you. :) Thank you for letting me vent to you about things that are happening in my life right now. You always seem to calm me down when I feel like I'm going to explode. I'm so glad that you and I are dating (kinda). I hope this lasts til I'm done with Snow. :) I can't wait til Friday so I can be with you while listening to He Is We LIVE!!

Dear Geography/Professor,
I am trying my very hardest to know the things that you are teaching me in class. I personally think your tests are too hard. Obviously most of the class is suffering because of the test scores. I really don't want to fail your class. I would rather not take the class again. I would rather try my very hardest and pass than not try and fail. (They don't get a picture because they are CURSING ME!!!)
Dear Roommates,
I am very excited for this week to be over with already. I know that you all wish the same. I also know that things happened this weekend that shouldn't have resulted this way. I know what you girls are doing and I'm not going to do the same thing you guys are. I am the Relief Society President and I have to set a good example. I'm not going to ignore her. I hope you girls understand.
Dear Bianca,
I have no idea if you'll even read this but I just wanted to tell you thank you for buying the casio! I am so excited to practice songs with you guys. I really hope I can get the music down with all the stuff going on. Now go get some sleep when you read this. You look so tired. :) It will make me happier when you get a little rest. k? Thanks for the shirt as well. I'm so excited to wear it on Friday! woot!
